Getting to Know Amy
Congratulations to Amy T. for being voted Q4’s Maverick Spotlight for her willingness to exceed expectations for the company, and her commitment to our customers.
Amy is the Office Manager at Maverick Transport and her role is to oversee the Admin Team and help coordinate day to day office operations. "I help with IT, employee onboarding, scheduling contractors, and help out where needed.”

What inspired you to join the team here?
I knew nothing of the transportation industry when I first interviewed with Maverick. I was excited to learn everything I could and help grow the company.
Why do you like working at Maverick Transport?
The Maverick Team is my second family. Everyone is so passionate about this industry. The company values our Team and gives us the opportunity to grow.
What do you love most about your job?
No two days are the same. Ever. It keeps me on my toes.
What do you think is the most important skill that you bring to the table?
Flexibility. I like to be able to help where/when needed. With that I try to have knowledge in many parts of the company. I am always willing to learn something new!
What is the most important lesson that you’ve learned from working with the team?
It is ok to ask for help when you need it.
Tell us a bit about your family.
I have been married for 21 years. I have a 25 year old step-daughter, a 20 year old son, a 3 year old granddaughter, and my fur babies! I have 3 dogs and a cat.
What brought you to Easton, MD?
I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. This is home.
Tell us more about yourself.
Fishing is my favorite hobby whether I am with my husband, granddaughter, or bestie. I also enjoy crafting and floral arranging. Outside of Maverick Transport, I am a co-owner of a Maryland based small business.
